The IDEAL Industries 30-102 PowerPlug? Luminaire Disconnect provides a safe, quick-connect solution for fluorescent and LED lighting fixtures. Designed to comply with NEC and CEC codes requiring power disconnects, it eliminates electrical shock hazards during maintenance by completely isolating hot and neutral lines. Featuring a compact orange-and-white nylon housing, the connector easily fits through standard 1/2-inch fixture knockouts. Its advanced push-in wire termination supports 18 to 12 AWG solid and stranded copper wire, making installation effortless without requiring specialized tools. Both sides are "touch-safe" to UL 2459 standards to prevent accidental contact. Rated for up to 600V and 6 amps, the Model 102 PowerPlug is essential for both OEM manufacturing and fixture retrofit applications.
