Description

This adapter converts a 2-pin G24d-2 or GX24d-2 compact fluorescent light (CFL) pin-base socket into a standard E26 or E27 medium screw-base lamp holder. Made from flame-retardant PBT material and conductive copper contacts, it allows you to upgrade existing commercial downlights or wall sconces to energy-efficient LED or standard incandescent screw-in bulbs. Note that using this adapter requires bypassing or removing the existing CFL ballast in the light fixture so household AC voltage runs directly to the socket.
