Emergency ballast for one T5-T8 lamps up to 28w
The ISL-28 from IOTA Engineering is a UL Listed fluorescent emergency ballast that allows the same fixture to be used for both normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power failure, the ISL-28 switches to the emergency mode and operates one of the existing lamps for 90 minutes. The unit contains a battery, charger, and inverter circuit in a single can. The ISL-28 operates T5 lamps up to 28W and T8 lamps at an initial output of up to 500 lumens for one lamp. The ISL-28 delivers high performance in a slim design, and is ideal for use in linear lighting fixtures where ballast compartment space is limited. The ISL-28 is suitable for use in damp locations and in enclosed and gasketed fixtures.
